An accomplished investigator with more than a decade of specialized experience in complex criminal and administrative investigations, and now focusing on fraud detection, background investigations, and due diligence services. As a former California State Peace Officer and Chief Fire Investigator with CAL FIRE, he has directed and executed hundreds of investigations, from origin and cause determinations to serial arsonist tracking. His proven skills in case development, surveillance, interview and interrogation, and evidence analysis now serve private-sector clients seeking accurate, discreet, and legally defensible investigative results. Through The Greenwood’s, LLC, Branden delivers comprehensive investigative solutions for corporations, law firms, and individuals with a focus on uncovering fraudulent activity, verifying backgrounds, and protecting client interests. 

Branden conducted or supervised over 800 criminal and administrative investigations, including numerous fraud-related and serial arson cases. Led investigative teams to detect, document, and prosecute complex cases involving arson and negligent caused fires. Performed in-depth background investigations on suspects and witnesses utilizing databases, public records, surveillance, and field interviews to develop complete subject profiles. Provided expert testimony in multiple Superior Court cases involving investigative methodology, evidence handling, and factual findings. Developed investigative policies, training programs, and protocols to ensure legal compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
